Big Brown, Small Fly
Looking through some old photos, my old setter Radar snoring away on the office couch next to me. Caught this big Pennsylvania brown trout on a #12 red-assed Kelso wet fly the last time I ever flyfished with my dad. He's the best tier you've never heard of, but at least you have now. Handed me a loaner rod with three old-school droppers just as he would've when I was a kid. Saw this two-footer finning in a pool between two current seams. Took a handful of roll casts but she took it. Just thinking of all this on a New England winter night.
